Philip N. Frederick of Middleburg passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at his residence. He was 72. Born July 22, 1941 in Casey County, he was a son of the late George and Martha Perry Frederick. Philip was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church and a retired heavy equipment operator for B&B Electric. He was preceded in death by a son, Norman "Buster" Frederick. Survivors include his wife, Imogene Poore Frederick; a son, Kenneth (and Cherri) Frederick of Stanford; a step-son, Jack (and Cindy) Perkins of Somerset; three step-daughters, Jamie (and Eddie) Bell and Jacqueline (and Joel) Cunnigan, both of Monticello, and Jessica (and Dewayne) Riddle of Albany; a brother, Robert (and Ruth) Frederick of Kings Mountain; a sister, Dorothy Carman of Kings Mountain; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Dec. 19 at Locust Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Bowling and Bro. Tim Jones officiating. Burial was in the KP Hall Cemetery.
