Voicel Taylor of Casey County passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2014 at the Casey County Hospital. She was 91. Born May 29, 1923 in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Dexter and Hattie Vanoy Hamm. She was a merchant and a member of the Cold Springs Primitive Baptist Church. Voicel was a caring lady that enjoyed taking care of others. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Taylor, who died July 22, 2012; a brother, Darrell Hamm; and two sisters, Edna Lawhorn and Blanche Hamm. Survivors include two sons, Larry (and Patti) Taylor of Oxford, Ohio and Danny (and Joan) Taylor of West Harrison, Ind.; a daughter, Brenda (and Ray) Prock of Mt. Healthy, Ohio; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Imogene Helm of Elmwood, Ohio. Funeral services were Nov. 29 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro.
