Walter Jascor of Liberty passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. He was 78. Born March 17, 1936 in Hillside, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Thaddeus "Ted" Jascor and Irene Palkowski Jascor Dreyer. Walter was the owner of Apex Signal Service for 25 years and after retiring in 2004, he moved to Kentucky. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ciesla Jascor, whom he married Oct. 7, 1961; two daughters, Bobbett Jascor of Liberty and Nadine Jascor of Watervliet, New York; and a sister, Anita Pfeil of Love Ladies Harbor, LBI, New Jersey. Funeral services were April 15 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty with Bro. Mike Pitzer and Bro. Ed Parton officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Casey County Ambulance Service (EMS) at 1137 Campbellsville St., Liberty, KY 42539.
