Wilbur Clarence "Denver" Wilson, 80, of Pulaski County, formerly of Casey County, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017.

Born Dec. 23, 1936, in Casey County he was the son of the late Leonard and Hattie Lynch Wilson. Denver was a self-employed gate shop owner and a very hard worker. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Brent (Debbie) Wilson of Liberty; a daughter, Janet (Joe) Corder of Somerset; six grandchildren, Kristy Wilkerson, Jennifer Scott, Laura Wilson, Mallory Scott, Jay Goode and Jayme Goode; a sister, Inez Davis of Liberty; and a brother, Shade Wilson of Liberty.

In addition to his parents, Denver was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith Foster Wilson, who passed away October 1999; a brother, Harry Wilson; and two sisters, Gay Hironimus and Joy Todd.

The funeral for Denver was Tuesday, March 21, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty with Brother Dwight Coffman officiating.
Burial followed in Glenwood Cemetery.
