William "Bill" Trammell, 82, of Waynesburg, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset.
Born Jan. 7, 1934, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Otis and Fannie Smith Trammell.
Bill was a member of the Antioch Christian Church and the Middleburg Masonic Lodge 594. He was a farmer, carpenter, and U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa (Brent) Ware of Waynesburg; sister, Ruth Roe of Lexington; and two granddaughters, Allison Ware and Ashley Ware.
He was preceded in death by his wife, who passed away on June 12, 1990, Ethel Smith Trammell; his parents; and a daughter, Connie Jean Trammell.
Funeral services were Feb. 27 at Mc-Kinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Powell and Bro. Bryce McCulley officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery with military rites by the Casey County Honor Guard.
Pallbearers were Bruce Roy, Kenny Morgan, Donald Tarter, Larry Ware, Larry Terry, and Charles Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were J.C. Bean, Thurman Terry, David Tarter, and Herley Roy.
