Wilma McQueen passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was 84. Born Jan. 29, 1928 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Manford and Lina Campbell Carman. She was a homemaker and member of the Walltown Christian Church. Wilma was the widow of Russell McQueen and formerly of the Kings Mountain community. Survivors include a grandson, Robert "Bobby" (and Lisa) McQueen of Cincinnati, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Kaitlyn McQueen; a sister, Pauline Snow of Waynesburg; and two nephews, Ronnie and Dennis Snow. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Larry McQueen; a grandson, Steve McQueen; and two sisters, Hazel Gambrel and Shirley Carman. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Willingham officiating. Burial will be at KP Hall Cemetery.
