Gary Dean Haldeman, 61, of Cedar Key, died Thursday, Oct.4, 2012 at Haven Hospice in Chiefland.
He was born in Phillipsburg, Pa, and later moved to Cedar Key after marrying Dottie Baker Haldeman.
He was a self-employed builder and later worked for Taylor Construction. He was actively involved in Boy Scouts and in church.
Survivors, in addition to his wife include children, Aaron (Polly) Haldeman, Marissa (Mark) DeHaven and Sarah (Jimbo) Keith; grandchildren, Zoe, Sadie, Micah, Maya, Max, Marina, Tyler, Adysan and Brynlee; five brothers and three sisters; many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Martha Haldeman and brothers, Walter and Clair.
Funeral services were Oct. 8 at the Cedar Key United Methodist Church.
