Harold P. Richburg, 55, died at his home Nov. 5, 2012.
He was born Nov. 7, 1956 to Paul and Alice Richburg in Gainesville. He was raised in Cedar Key and moved to Chiefland in 1976.
He was an electrician for Progress Energy. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Hardeetown Baptist Church where he loved to sing in the choir. He was a member of the NRA, coached CAAA for 15 years and coached the women's softball team at the Hardeetown Baptist Church. He loved NASCAR, hunting, fishing, the beach and the river. He was very outgoing and loved football. He was a big Gator fan.
Survivors include mother, Alice Richburg; sons, Zeb (Charlene) and Jacob Richburg; daughter, Cassie Richburg; brother, Hubert (Ann) Richburg; sisters, Paulette Richburg Moore, Shirlene (Phillip) Campbell and two grandchildren, Lance and Bethany Richburg.
Funeral services were held Nov. 8 at the Hardeetown Baptist Church. He was buried at the Cedar Key Cemetery following the service. The service was officiated by Pastor Travis Hudson and Pastor Tom Keisler. The committal service was officiated by Pastor Todd Pope.
