Marvin Guy Harrington, 63, died Monday, July 10, 2012 at his home following an extended illness.
He was born in Easton, Md. And moved to Cedar Key in 1963.
He was a cabinet maker and a Vietnam veteran. He was an avid gardener, loved nature and animals. He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Alexis Harrington; son Jarrett Harrington; daughter Meagan Harrington; sisters, Joan Fansler and Mary Williams; brother, Ray Harrington and granddaughter, Alexandra Harrington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Harrington; his mother, Josephine Harrington; his sisters, Stella George and Betty Ellingsworth, both of Easton, Md.
A memorial service was held Saturday, July 21, in the conference room of Cedar Key Library.
