Hazel Loving Harris Johnson(1924 - 2018)

Hazel Loving Harris Johnson, 93, passed while in residence at Envoy of the Meadows in Sandy Hook, Virginia, on September 2, 2018.
Hazel was born on Sept 3, 1924, at Easte Leake, Virginia. She is the daughter of Richard E. Harris and Thelma W. Isabel. She was a graduate of Louisa High School Class of 1942 and a retired secretary from Molins. Ms. Johnson was a member of the Belmont Merrymakers, an amateur genealogist and a lifelong member of Gum Spring United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Robert "Cookie" Dillard (Emma); grandchildren Ginger Dillard, Ken Dillard (Heather), Brett Dillard (Samantha), Cari Dillard; and great-grandchildren Autumn Daley and Kevin Dillard. She is preceded in death by two spouses; her beloved son, William "Tom" Dillard; and her siblings Elmer W. Harris, William R. Harris, Richard G. Harris, Audrey H. Henley; as well as her beloved dogs.
The memorial service will be held at Gum Spring United Methodist Church on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held at the church following the service. Private interment will take place at Gum Spring United Methodist Church.
