To Sylvia and all her family members;
I had typed in Regie's name and was extremely surprised to hear of her passing. She and I attended Penn State together both graduating from the College of Home Economics. After graduation we kept in touch and I visited her parent's home in Aaronsburg several times.
After my husband and I were married, we continued our friendship visiting at our home, a trip to the home of Regie and Rel when I worked in Chicago one summer, and a short but enjoyable visit with her in Minnesota when she was going on a River boat cruise down the Mississippi.
It was always a pleasure to receive her Christmas Card or talk with her on the telephone throughout our long time friendship. Her collection of Moorcroft Pottery was beautiful and enjoyed by many who viewed it in her lovely homes in Indiana or Florida.
Please accept my expression of sympathy to all your family

Regie played an important role in my early career as a dietitian in Kokomo, Indiana. She was a great mentor, encourager and friend. She helped me in summer employment at the local hospital and with later assignments to dietetic positions. Our friendship blossomed beyond the workplace. I took glass cutting classes with her and Rel, visited Put-In-Bay and celebrated anniversary parties, Colts games, and other special times. After she moved to Florida we did not see each other but kept in touch though Christmas cards and our mutual good friend Judith Walrod. I am getting married this year at the age of 60 (for the first time). I have thought of Regie (as a mature bride) often during my engagement. I know she is dancing is heaven. My sincere condolences.

My husband and I wish to express our condolences to the Moorcroft family at this time of sorrow. Regie will be missed by her many Church friends and especially the Holly House Volunteers. May she rest in peace along with the other Angels in Heaven. Sincerely, Sandra and C.J. "Bud" Shine
