Clifford E. (Dink) Treaster July 16, 1938 April 9, 2014 Clifford E. "Dink" Trea- ster, 75, of rural Spring Mills, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at his home. Born July 16, 1938, in Potter Township he was the son of the late Stanley Ernest Treaster. On November 12, 1960, he married Kathryn B. Musser, who survives at home. He was a 1957 graduate of Centre Hall Potter High School and a US Army Vietnam War veteran. Dink retired from Chem Cut. He worked for Tractor Supply in Lewistown in sales and as a mechanical assembler. He farmed and raced his standardbred horses most of his life. He also was a former member of the United States Trotting Association. He enjoyed hunting and trapping, but his greatest joy was his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Clifford is survived by one son, Clifton S. Treaster (Christine Manning-Treaster), of rural Spring Mills; one brother, William Treaster (June), of Burnham; one sister, Stephanie Ann Auman (Harold), of rural Spring Mills; and four grandchildren, Terrill A.J. Treaster, Tucker E.S. Treaster, Kaiden T. Manning-Treaster and Vincent H. Williams. He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Virginia Mae O'Donnell and Linda Louis Wells. Friends will be received 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, Centre Hall. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 14, 2014, at the funeral home with Wayne Stoltzfus officiating. Burial will follow in Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Therapeutic Riding program at Hoffman Homes for Youth, 815 Orphanage Road, Littlestown, PA 17340.
