Delores Dee O. Spicer May 6, 1928 November 30, 2012 Delores Dee O. Spicer, 84, of Bellefonte passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Centre Crest in Bellefonte. She was born on May 6, 1928, in Altoona. She married Richard I. Spicer Sr., who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and had babysat for many area families. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and gardening. She was member of the Garden Club at Centre Crest. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Peters, of Bellefonte, Sharon and her husband, Ed Brown, of State College, and Diane and her husband, Kevin Vandermark, of Howard. She is also survived by three sons, Ralph Frank and his wife, Ginger, of Bellefonte, Richard I. Spicer Jr., and his wife, Joyce, of Milesburg, and Kenneth E. Spicer, of Bellefonte; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Dee also raised her granddaughter, Tammy, who is married to Jeff Moore, of Centre Hall. Dee was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Ann Spicer. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Kader-Neff Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 135 W. Main St., Howard. The funeral will be held at noon Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Stephen Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Hublersburg Cemetery.
