Grayson Vogtman Dinsmore August 26, 1990 December 4, 2013 Grayson Vogtman Din- smore, 23, of Anderson, S.C., formerly of State College, died unexpectedly in Anderson, S.C. on December 4, 2013. Born August 26, 1990 in Huntington, W.Va., he was the son of Dr. Harry Heasley Dinsmore Jr. and Vicki Ann Vogtman. He is survived by his parents; sister, Natasha Vogtman Dinsmore, of Oxford, Miss.; and brother, Travis Heasley Dinsmore, of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Nell Vogtman, of Greensboro, Ga. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dr. Harry Heasley Dinsmore and Joan Evans Dinsmore, of Punxsutawney; and his uncle, Ronald John Vogtman, of Munich, Germany. Grayson grew up in State College, was a 2008 graduate of State College Area High School and graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in August of 2012, with a degree in Security Risk Analysis and a minor in Information Science and Technology. He had recently been employed with First Quality in Anderson, S.C. While in high school, Grayson was a member of the cross country team, concert band and also participated in lacrosse club and thoroughly enjoyed skiing and snowboarding. Grayson was a very talented musician and had a phenomenal ear for music. He played several instruments, including the bass guitar and guitar; neither of which he had formal training for. The piano and saxophone were other instruments he played and he enjoyed composing his own music. Some of his favorite bands included Nine Inch Nails, Deftones and Crosses. Live music, concerts and music festivals were some of his favorite things to partake in. He was a computer whiz and avid video gamer. Grayson was a compassionate son, brother and friend who continually looked out for others and their well being, often picking up bar tabs and simply being selfless. His funny mannerisms and amazing sense of humor will be missed immensely. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at 2 p.m., at the Faith United Methodist Church, 512 Hughes Street in Bellefonte with Pastor Andy Morgan officiating.
