Budd H. Immel December 4, 1942 July 3, 2014 Budd H. Immel, 71, of Woodward, passed from this life on July 3, 2014, at his residence. Born on December 4, 1942, in Spring Mills, Budd was a son of the late Edward J. and Mable E. (Gentzel) Immel. He was a 1962 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School. On August 14, 1971, Budd married Nancy M. Greninger who preceded him in death on February 2, 2007. Budd is survived by three sisters, Anna "Dolly" Long, of Centre Hall, Doris L. Rittenhouse (Ron), of San Tan Valley, Ariz. and Mae "Reannie" Rider (Dave), of Spring Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Budd was preceded in death by siblings, Edwin "Bus" Immel, James "Jim" Immel, infant brother, Eugene Immel, David "Sunny" Immel, Sara J. Griffin and Mary "Toot" Cogan. Budd was employed at the Dairy Barns at Penn State University, retiring with 37 years of service. He attended Faith Alive Fellowship and Green Grove Brethren in Christ Church and was a member of the Lewistown Moose Lodge # 143. Budd enjoyed hunting and going out to eat. In his spare time, he provided transportation to Amish families in the local area. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014, from 910 a.m. at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dan Shreckengast officiating. Budd will be laid to rest in Tylersville Cemetery.
