Charles A. Weber Charles A. Weber, 86, of Bridgeville, formerly of State College, died early Thursday morning August 7, 2014, at UPMC-Altoona. Born in Altoona son of the late John Joseph Jr. and Thelma G. (Pullen) Weber. He married the former Jacques L. Nash. Surviving are his wife and children: Stephen A. Weber and wife, Rachel, of Avella, Marilee Caputo, of Fallbrook, Calif., Kathryn Long, of Austin, Texas; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, John J. Weber III, of State College. He was of the Lutheran faith. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Mr. Weber served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years having attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Following his military career he also worked for AT&T as Western area Operations Supervisor and at Sears in Woodland, Texas. He was a graduate of State College High School where he was State National Wrestling Champion during his senior year. He enjoyed golfing. A private funeral service with military honors will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
