Joseph John Crestani III April 21, 1949 August 10, 2013 Joseph John Crestani III, 64, of rural Julian, died Saturday, August 10, 2013, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, College Twp. Born April 21, 1949, in Philipsburg, Joe was the son of Norma Jean Hoover of Duncansville and the late Joseph John Crestani. Joe was co-owner of DAC Enterprise. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a veteran having served two tours of duty in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Joe was a 1967 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School, completed Navy 'A' School (Military Construction Battalion #74) in 1967 and attended Gomaco University in Iowa. He attended St. Peter's United Church of Christ in State College. He is survived by his wife, the former Marcella A. Davidson Crestani, at home; two sons, Jason D. Crestani of Unionville and Douglas A. and his wife Jaclyn A. Crestani of Julian; two brothers, Steve Crestani of Port Matilda and Lenny Crestani of Pleasant Gap; two sisters, Gladys Lucas of Runville and Margie Foster of Petersburg; five grandchildren, Bradley M. Crestani, Garrett D. Crestani, MacKinzie A. Crestani, Grace E. Crestani and Faith E. Crestani. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin A. Crestani. Service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. from Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, PA, with Pastor Robert 'Bo' King officiating. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, August 14, 2013, from 5 p.m. 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
