Paul R. (Dick) Corman January 27, 1929 August 26, 2014 Paul R. "Dick" Corman, 85, of Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born on January 27, 1929, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Blanche McCloskey Corman. After graduating from high school, Dick served in the military during the Korean War. On December 27, 1950, he married the love of his life, the former Gloria J. Bryan, who preceded him in death on December 29, 2011. Dick was employed by the Hammermill Paper Company for many years. Along with his love for hunting, fishing, and camping, he was an avid Penn State fan. Dick's one true passion was his big garden in Swissdale from which he always shared with others. More than anything, Dick treasured his time spent with family and friends. Surviving is a daughter, Linda Kay, and her husband, Andrew Eckman, of Jersey Shore and a grandson, Brandon Eckman. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Stover; and two brothers, Donald and Lefty Corman. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, with Dick's son-in-law, Andrew Eckman, officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
