Thomas W. Knepp January 25, 1960 February 20, 2014 Thomas Wayne Knepp "Kneppy", 54, of Potters Mills, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born in Miami Fla. on January 25, 1960, he was the son of the late Lawrence "Ralphie" Knepp and Delphine (Rice) Knepp, who resides in Inverness, Fla. Thomas was a 1977 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. In 1980, he graduated from the School of Computer Technology, Inc., of Pittsburgh with a degree in Applied Business Programming. Thomas worked for Froggy in advertising and also set up lottery machines across the state of Pennsylvania. In 2001, Thomas was the winner of Century 21 All-Stars Home Run Derby in Seattle Washington, where he won a home. He had a special love for his friends and music. He enjoyed fishing and was a competitive pool player. He was especially fond of his dogs, Cowboy, Christopher, and Langley "Bud". He was a lifetime member of the Potters Mills VFW, Post 9575 where he enjoyed maintaining their Facebook page. He is survived by his mother, Delphine; step-mother, Mary "Mert" Millican; his brother, Richard and wife, Georgina (Zong) Knepp, of Bellefonte; his two sisters, Diane and her husband, Donald Revon Readling, of Wrightsville and Deborah and her husband, Lamar Davis, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father; nephew, Matthew Knepp; and his brother-in-law, Dean Tice. He is also survived by many friends who stood by him, provided love, companionship, and comfort to the very end. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2014, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte, PA. Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to "Pets Come First", 2451 General Potter Highway, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
