E. Carol Breon February 22, 1938 October 18, 2013 E. Carol Breon, 75, of 1133 Summer Mountain Road, Loganton, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013, at her home. Born on February 22, 1938, in Tylersville, Carol was the daughter of the late Earl and Susan McCaleb. On June 9, 1957, in Tylersville, Carol married the love of her life, James P. Breon, who preceded her in death on June 6, 2013. She graduated from Sugar Valley High School in 1956 and received a Secretarial Degree from Willimsport Tech School. She was a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. and Masters of Education. From 1966 through 1968 she was employed as a secretary for Penn State University. From 1972 until her retirement in 2000, she was employed by the Keystone Central School District as a math teacher at Bald Eagle Nittany High School, where she served as Math Coordinator for the district and the advisor for the Honor Society. She also served as co-chair for the Sugar Valley Alumni Banquet Committee. Carol's life was devoted to caring for her husband James and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Surviving are two children: Jeffrey P. Breon of Loganton and Lori S. (Jeff) Vanino of Sinking Springs; five grandchildre: Jordan, Garth and Ryan Breon and Derek and Bradley Vanino; and a great-granddaughter, Even Breon; a sister, Catherine Roberts of Lamar; and a brother, Perry McCaleb of Tylersville. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ, 3791 Narrows R., Loganton (Tylersville) with Rev. Roger Snyder officiating. Burial will be at Tylers-ville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 213 High St., Flemington on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Tylers-ville Cemetery Association, c/o Mr. Gary Stover, 41 Old Hill Rd., Logan-ton, PA 17747.
