Nancy Lee Robinson November 18, 1937 March 14, 2013 Nancy Lee Robinson, 75, of West Lafayette, passed away in her sleep, Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Westminster Health Care. She was born Nov. 18, 1937, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to the late James and Ruie Crandall Gardner. She received her Master's degree in Social Work. On April 4, 1964, she married James Robinson in Michigan and he survives. Nancy was a former member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and involved with Habitat for Humanity, VIPS, and RSVP. She had created many friendships through her outgoing personality and caring nature, and she will be greatly missed. Throughout her life she worked to help others, especially enjoying programs that helped other people feel good about themselves and what they could accomplish. Her high energy and creative nature instigated projects that many other people benefited from. Surviving along with her husband are three sons Rich Robinson (wife Tricia), of Kenosha, Wis., Doug Robinson (wife Jennifer), of Indianapolis, Ind., Brian Robinson, of Chicago; a daughter, Becky Garris (husband Steve), of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Jill Breneman, of Dubuque, Iowa, Ann Batchelder (husband Mark), of Rockford, Mich.; and nine grandchildren. Friends will be received from 10:15 until the time of the memorial service at 12 noon on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at First United Methodist Church 1700 St Rd 26 W.
