Phyllis J. Duck August 20, 1934 - November 24, 2011 Phyllis J. Duck, 77, of Centre Hall, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, at Centre Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bellefonte. She was born Aug. 20, 1934, in Gregg Township, a daughter of the late Paul and Stella Snyder King. Surviving are her husband, Merrill H. Duck, of Centre Hall; three sons, Phillip Merrill Duck, of Huntingdon, Norman Leon Duck, of State College, and Chester Adam Duck, of Centre Hall; and one daughter, Tina Marie Parada, of Centre Hall. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susanna May Duck, on Nov. 11, 1953. Following previously stated wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family, at Green Grove Cemetery, rural Spring Mills. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Centre Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 501 E. Howard St., Bellefonte, PA 16823. The family wishes to express their deep and sincere appreciation for the excellent care, support and compassion the staff at Centre Crest demonstrated in their caring for Mrs. Duck.
