Ronald H. Hughes August 29, 1929 November 13, 2012 Ronald H. Hughes, 83, of State College, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at the Village at Penn State. He was born August 29, 1929, in Clearfield, son of the late Raymond and Margaret Hopkins Hughes. He graduated from Penn State University in 1951 with a B.A. in Chemical Engineering. On March 22, 1951, he married Ramona Robinson Hughes at the Presbyterian Church of Clearfield. She survives at home. In addition to his wife he is survived by children, Michele Gainer, wife of Mark Gainer and Deb Hughes Stewart, wife of Ken Stewart; grandchildren, Brent Hughes Stewart, Bradley Stewart and his wife, Lindsay Stewart, Lindsay Gainer Attaway, wife of Matthew Attaway. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Clearfield. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be made to the Clearfield Presbyterian Church,
and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
