Darlene M. Grubb October, 13, 1951 - January 31, 2011 Darlene M. Grubb, 59, of Coleville, passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born Oct. 13, 1951, in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of the late John J. Tressler and Gloria (Rossman) Tressler, who survives in Coleville. She was married to Nelson Grubb, who survives at home. She attended Bellefonte High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eagle Heights Bible Church and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed going to yard sales, buying crafts, and spending time with her family. Along with her husband, she is survived by her three daughters, Candy Harvey, of Las Vegas, Nev., Kimberly Mason, of Julian, Peggy Shawley, of Beech Creek; eight grandchildren, Chelsea and Jordan Brennan, Robert Harvey, Jacob Marquardt, Morgan Mason, James Bathurst, Brandon Grubb, Logan Bathurst; two step-grandchildren, Valerie and Hunter Shawley; and two great grandchildren, Carter Guindon and Gemma Bathurst. She is also survived by 10 sisters, Connie Poorman, of Coleville, Maynie Emel, of Bellefonte, Judy Walk, of Coleville, Elaine Meyer, of S.D., Marion Perryman, of Coleville, Barbara Shouey, of Coleville, Diane Burns, of Coleville, Bonnie Lou Tressler, Rose Ann Tressler, of Coleville, Peg Tressler, of Coleville; two brothers, John "Bub" Tressler, of Bellefonte, Jessy Tressler, of Pleasant Gap; numerous nieces and nephews, and her special niece, Desiree Tressler. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers. A public visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, from 6-8 p.m., at Wetzler Funeral Service Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte. Funeral services will immediately follow at 8 p.m., at the funeral home, with Reverend Stephen R. Hicks officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the , Centre Unit, 123 S Sparks St., State College PA 16801-3915.
