Darrell F. Irvin October 19, 1943 - April 18, 2011 Darrell F. Irvin, 67, of Liverpool, passed away April 18, 2011, at Manor Care. Born Oct. 19, 1943, son of the late William and Carolyn (Saylor) Irvin. Along with his parents, Darrell was predeceased by an infant brother. Darrell is survived by daughter, Tonya Irvin; daughter, Stacey Long and her companion; grandson, Mason Krout; uncle, Jack Irvin; aunt, Thelma Roadarmel; and several cousins. An Army veteran, serving from 1964 to 1970, Darrell was a member of the VFW, Newport and the American Legion, Newport and Liverpool. He retired as head painter of the Harrisburg School District and belonged to Friendship Hose Co., Sunbury, Loyal Order of the Moose, Millerstown, Hunters Valley Sportsman's Assn., Newport, and the Newport Social Order of the Owls, Newport. Darrell also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting and fishing. A celebration of life service will be held at the Loyal Order of the Moose, 109 W. Juniata Pkwy., Millerstown, April 30, 2011, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Manor Care, Camp Hill or Hospice of Central PA, Carlisle.
