Margaret L. (Margie) Horner September 25, 1928 July 25, 2013 Margaret L. "Margie" Horner, 84, of Pleasant Gap, died Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Wynwood House, Centre Hall. She was born on Sept. 25, 1928, in Milroy, the daughter of the late Melvin M. and Anna W. Weimer Kibe. On Dec. 8, 1948, she married Paul E. Horner, who preceded her in death April 11, 2002. She was a 1946 graduate of Armagh Township High School. Margie was a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed being with her family and friends. Margie was a member of Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church, Sunday School teacher and had served on many committees also attended conferences on a regular basis. She was on the Spring Township Election board. Margie enjoyed re-finishing furniture, sewing, reading and painting. She is survived by one daughter, Bonita L. (Jim) Dromazos, of Manassas, Va.; one son, Terry P. (Doris) Horner, of Pleasant Gap; one brother, Warren Kibe, of Julian; three sisters, Helen Knepp, of Milroy, Arlene (Harry) Ganoe, of Felton, Del. and Mary (Allen) Spieglemyer, of McClure; four grandchildren, Jeromy and wife, Jenny Horner, Jamie and Kirstie Horner, Eric Dromazos and Matthew Dromazos; and three great grandchildren, Fletcher, Gabby and Ellie. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, June Basom; and two brothers, Glenn Kibe and Gene Kibe. Services will be held at the Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church, 179 S. Main St., Pleasant Gap on Monday, July 29, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Rev. John J. Dromazos officiating. Family and friends will be received at Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church on Monday from 9:30-11 a.m. Burial will be in Pleasant Gap Lutheran Cemetery, Pleasant Gap. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Horizon's Hospice, 309 East Plank Road, Suite 700, Altoona, PA 16602. Arrangements are under the direction of Dean K.
