Dennis P. Snyder June 18, 1947 March 4, 2014 Dennis P. Snyder, 66, of Mill Hall, died March 4, 2014, at his residence. Born June 18, 1947, he was the son of the late Jesse D. and Illene Tolston Snyder. On Sept. 30, 1972, in Mill Hall, he married Beatrice Mosser who died April 3, 2009. Denny was a 1965 graduate of the Bald Eagle Nittany High School. He had served as Chief Deputy Sheriff while working for Sheriff, William Maggs. Denny was a U.S. Air Force veteran, stationed in Japan for three years. He later served in the U. S Army Reserves for 20 plus years. Denny enjoyed reading, going to casinos and playing golf. He was a member' Voiture 903, 40 et 8; American Legion Post 623,Beech Creek; V.F.W. Post 1630, Lock Haven; American Legion Post, 131, Lock Haven; L.O.O.M. Lodge 100, Lock Haven; B.P.O.E. # 183, Lock Haven and the Sons of Italy, Lock Haven. Denny retired from SCI, Rockview as a Corrections Office after 22 years service. He is survived by two daughters, Dawn M. Snyder (Timothy Gill), Lock Haven and Jessica M. (Christopher) Bellino, Eagleville; two brothers, Timothy Snyder and Jeffery (Marlene) Snyder, both of Mill Hall; and one granddaughter, Riley Greene. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gregory and Michael Snyder. A service of rememberence will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA 17751. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014, in the funeral home. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ross Library through the funeral home. Arrangements entrusted to the Dean K.
