Betty E. Cox March 8, 1940 June 1, 2014 Betty E. Cox, 74, of Bellefonte, died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Mount Nittany Medical Center at State College. She was born March 8, 1940 near Howard, a daughter of the late Harry and Hazel Butler Haines. Betty retired from State College Ford as a shuttle driver. She especially enjoyed fishing and camping, and was a member of Three Point Sportsman's Club at Clarence. Surviving Betty are two sons, Terry M. Cox, of Philipsburg and Roger D. Cox, of Bellefonte; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Shawn, and Alesha; seven great grandchildren; and a special friend, Doris Crock, of Bellefonte. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Erma and Martha. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service P.C., 1034 Benner Pike, State College. Other services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
