Audrey Hanscom

Audrey A. Hanscom July 15, 1961 May 20, 2016 Audrey A. Hanscom, 54, of Julian, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016, at the home of her mother in Spring Mills. Audrey was born on July 15, 1961, in Bellefonte, the daughter of Jean Carson Stitzer of Spring Mills and the late Dean Stitzer. On July 6, 1999, she married Kevin L. Hanscom who survives at home. Along with her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Krista Hanscom at home. Also surviving is her sister, Darlene Track of Independence, MO and her brothers, James Stitzer and Brad Stitzer both of Spring Mills. Audrey was a member of the Calvery Bible Church in Centre Hall. She was a 1979 graduate of Penns Valley High School. Audrey had worked at Josten's Printing. She was a caregiver for At Home Instead. Audrey cherished her daughter, Krista, and enjoyed spending time with her family, and gardening. A special thanks to her caregivers, Deb Stitzer and Cindy Stere and to Centre Home Care Hospice. A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.
