Dear Mom, how I miss you.
Id sure love to kiss you
On your face
While we embrace.
Id love to hear your voice;
It would make me rejoice
To be in your presence one more time.
Instead, Im writing you this rhyme.
Its all your fault, you know,
The way you named me so,
After a poets last name.
Thats why rhymings my game!
You used to say, Youre a poet;
Dont you know it?
Your feet show it;
Theyre longfellows!
Oh, how I miss your hellos
When wed talk on the telephone.
Now theres just a ringtone
If I dial your number,
And that makes me somber.
Well meet again on the other side,
Which makes me really happy inside.
I miss and love you so much, Mom ~
Ill see you when God calls me home.

Mom, you were the best mother-in-law one could have asked for. Over the 40 plus years I have enjoyed the many conversations we had late at night and in the wee hours of the morning while eating the Best chocolate chips cookies ever. I will certainly miss the phone conversations and sharing what is going on with your granddaughters. I have many fond memories, especially one time we were looking through the binoculars at a neighbor across the street getting locked out of the house by her daughter, we laughed for quite awhile. My sincere condolences to John, Shannon, Dave, Cherie and my wife Shelley for the loss of mom. May mom now Rest in Peace with Sandi as well as other loved ones. Love and miss you, Gary

I really enjoyed working with Lori at Danks, and got to know her even better over the years going to the Danks dinners. Loved her laugh and smile and sense of humor. She will be missed. Condolences and prayers to her children, grandchildren and family.

We shared many Danks' dinners with Lori after the store closed. We had talked at Christmas and she sounded so good. Remember how woefully the dog would look at her when we would pick her up. She was a very nice person to know.

My deepest sympathy. I work at Schlow and have many fond memories of your Mom. We liked the same genre and would talk about ones we liked. She called me awhile ago just to say hello and how much she missed coming to the library.
