Nan, Karen, Deana and Elizabeth. Today, I finally got the word of Wallace's passing. I lost a great friend and confident. Wallace and I spent a great deal of time together and I always found his words to be wise and thoughtful in those years. I had the occasion to visit with Wallace during Mom's funeral and I will cherish our last meeting for as long as I'm alive. He was a gentleman to the end and my life is better having known him. God bless Wallace Blakely, a true man of his time. I wish I could have flown back from Iraq for the funeral, but as you know, it's a little difficult. Please accept Angelique and my deepest heartfelt condolences.
