To the Smalls Family. I attended the services of Bro. Smalls today and it was beautiful. The service was befitting of a man who lived a Christian life for all to see. He is now resting from his labor. All that he has done in the name of Christ will last and will continue to speak for him. May God grant you His peace and comfort in the days ahead.

To the Smalls Family,
I have such fond memories of Bro. Smalls. He along with all the men of St. Matthew Baptist Church were very influential in my life. Bro. Smalls and I sang in the choir, rode the church bus on many trips. I, as a young man always admired him for his calm spirit and always so pleasant and eager to serve where ever needed in the church, he did it all to working in the office, serving on the usher board, driving the church bus, singing in the choir, and any work that was to be done at the church he always had a hand in making St. Matthew a place to call home. You are in my prayers. I do believe he is at rest....
