Edward L. Bailey Myrtle Beach, sc - The relatives and friends of Mr. Edward L. Bailey are invited to attend his Funeral Service 11am, Saturday, August 1, 2015 at New First Missionary Baptist Church, 1644 Highway 174, Edisto Island, SC. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. A Viewing will be held today from 1-7pm at Murray's Mortuary. Mr. Bailey is the beloved father of Palmer Leon Bailey (Sheeneque) and Marshay Elaine Smith; adopted daughter, Sheryl Black (Harry); brother of Robert Singleton (Ruth), Leon Meggett (Delores), Frances Price, Mary Dudley (Melvin), Elaine Cusaac (Henry), Patricia Ruiz (Roberto), Ronald Bailey (Sylvia), Earl Bailey (Bridgett), Robert Bailey (Ellen), Theresa Bailey and Kenneth Bailey. Baty, Elsie Acerra  
Elsie Acerra Baty GOOSE CREEK - Elsie Acerra Baty, 86, of Goose Creek, went to be with her Lord on July 26, 2015. Born in Mechanicsville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Michelina Acerra and wife to the late Eugene Baty. Elsie was a retired beautician and enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and sewing. She was an active member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Goose Creek, where she was involved in the Women's Ministries and also attended Carnes Crossroads Church of God. She is survived by her children, Desiree Baty Tillman of Charleston, Gordon "Chip" Baty and wife Susan of North Carolina, David Baty of Goose Creek and Debra Boland and husband Tim of Columbia; grandchildren, Lauren Tillman, Hunter Tillman, Sara Baty, Timothy Rogers and wife Marie, Randa Rogers, Sherry Rogers, Kevin Rogers and Sarah London and husband Jeremy; three sisters, Carm Scelci of New York, Mary Doriski and husband Paul of New York and Ida Guyer of Maryland. Elsie is also survived by six great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Carnes Crossroads Church of God. Burial will follow in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at church. He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Judy, two sons and one daughter, his mother and five siblings. Susanne Haberkost Brandt Charleston - Susanne Haberkost Brandt, 71, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of C. Kenneth Brandt entered into eternal rest Monday, August 3, 2015. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside Thursday, August 6, 2015 in Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Susanne was born March 16, 1944 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Howard F. Haberkost and Virginia Seabrook Haberkost. She was a retired administrative assistant with DHEC, a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her husband, C. Kenneth Brandt of Charleston, SC; daughter, Susanne B. Fagan (Blake) of Bradenton, FL; two sons, Charles Kenneth Brandt, Jr. of Charleston, SC and Michael Allen Brandt (Britta) of Ridgeville, SC; seven grandchildren: Blake Matthew Fagan, III (Katerina), Anna Marie Fagan, Kyle Kennith Fagan, Hailey Elizabeth Brandt, Amber Lee Harbert, Cidney Ann Barnett, and Madison Jo Barnett; and great-granddaughters, Karaline Fagan and Kayleigh Fagan. Brantley, Raymond Stanton  
Raymond Stanton Brantley RIDGEVILLE, SC - Raymond S. Brantley, of Ridgeville, SC, passed away on July 24, 2015. Son of the late Eunice and Thomas Brantley, he was previously married to Grace Gould Brantley and is survived by their daughters, Beverly Waid of Brunswick, Robin Horner of Melbourne, FL, Holly Hailey of Talmo, GA, Joy Berry of Ridgeville, SC, and Rilla Edgy; grandchildren, James R. Berry, II and Matthew Horner; siblings and spouses, R.O. and Phyllis Brantley, Diane Brantley, Yvonne Brantley, Janice Brantley and Brenda Sluder and stepchildren, Gary Whiddon and Leisha Lavendar. Raymond is predeceased in death by his parents; brother, Mel Brantley; and sister, Ruby Sizemore. Mr. Brantley was a Master Sergeant in the Air National Guard, 224th Radio Relay and Mobile Command Unit, St. Simons Island, GA for over 25 years in addition to service in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was also a Housing Manager, GLYNCO, Brunswick and Naval Air Station, Albany for over 20 years until medical retirement. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 on St. Simons Island, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fisher House.
