Wewers, Barbara A.  
Barbara A. Wewers LADSON - Barbara A. Wewers, 64, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Trident Medical Center in N. Charleston. Ms. Wewers was born in Georgetown on November 15, 1950, a daughter of the late Alphonse Glonie Wewers, Sr. and Evelyn Elizabeth Vanderbilt Wewers. She grew up in Georgetown and lived most of her life in Ladson. Ms. Wewers was of the Catholic faith. She was an inspiration to all and had a great love for family. Surviving are: a brother, Al G. Wewers, Jr. (Patty) of Georgetown; and two sisters, Betty W. Harrelson (James) of Georgetown and Patricia W. Barnes of Andrews; and a number of nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at eleven o'clock on Friday morning, March 27, 2015, at Saint Mary, Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church in Georgetown. Officiating will be the Rev. Ronald J. Farrell. Burial will follow at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from five until seven o'clock. Wieland, Ralph "Dutch"  
Ralph "Dutch" Wieland SUMMERVILLE - Mr. Ralph "Dutch" Wieland of Summerville, SC, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015 at the age of 81. Dutch was born on March 6, 1934 in Mt. Vernon, NY to Ralph and Dorothy Wieland. He entered the US Navy in 1950. He spent most of his 32 year career on Submarines. Dutch was in Food Management with a passion for the culinary arts. His Food Management Team was instrumental in getting the Johnson & Wales College in Charleston, SC. Dutch continued to teach Food Management for 12 years after his retirement. Dutch retired from the US Navy in 1983 as Command Master Chief. Dutch is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Wieland; daughters, Mickey Januszkiewicz, Lynnette Bible and Christine Wieland; stepdaughter, Wanda Turner and stepson, Dale Turner; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Skipper Wieland and stepdaughter, Vickie Bryant. A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on March 28, 2015 at the Metro North Church, 109 Central Avenue, Goose Creek, SC.
