Christopher Kirk Infinger CHARLESTON - Christopher Kirk Infinger, 34, from Charleston, SC died Thursday June 18th 2015 in High Point, NC. Christopher was born in Bamburg, SC on July 13th 1981 the son of Melanie Lynn Bazemore from Ridgeville and the late Donald Kirk Infinger of Mountain Rest, SC. Judy, John "Ed"  
John "Ed" Judy HOLLY HILL, SC - John "Ed" Judy, 63, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 1, 2015. He was born on January 16, 1952 to Charles and Betty Judy. He was a faithful member of Palmetto Land Baptist Church for ten years and Ferndale Baptist Church for 25 years. Ed recently retired from Berkeley County Water & Sanitation and worked for Cummins Atlantic for 27 years. He is survived by his wife, Susie, who was his best friend of 42 years; two daughters, Stacey (Jason) and Rose (Ricky); nine grandchildren, Marc, Megan, Marisa, Summer, Kyle, Hailey, Taylor, Carolina and Wesley; mother-in-law, Virginia Goddard; four brothers, Allen, David, Andy and Michael. Ed never met a stranger and always wanted to tell people about the Lord. The family will receive friends, Sunday July 5, 2015 from 6 PM till 8 PM at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service for Ed will be held 11 AM Monday, July 6, 2015 at Palmetto Land Baptist Church, 114 Tomaka Drive, Summerville, S.C. 29486. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. Kinner Sr., Charles  
Charles Kinner, Sr. N. CHARLESTON - Charles Kinner, Sr., age 81, of North Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 29, 2015. He was born on August 18, 1933 in Canisteo, NY to the late Charles and Venny Kinner. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service, including service in Vietnam. He was a Technical Sergeant and worked on the C-5A aircraft. He was employed with Gene Reed Chevrolet and Mitsubishi dealerships' service departments. He was a craftsman and handyman. He enjoyed NASCAR racing. He was of the Baptist Faith. Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years: Barbara Kinner of North Charleston, SC; sons: Charles Kinner, Jr. (Teresa) of Ladson SC, Ronald Kinner of North Charleston, SC, and Kevin Kinner of North Charleston, SC; grandchildren: Charles III, Courtney, Steven, Nina, and Ronald; 3 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Mary Kinner. He was preceded in death by his son: Steven Kinner. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston SC 29406. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2015. The family is gratefully accepting flowers in his honor. Logue, Ivy Irene  
Ivy Irene Logue JAMES ISLAND - Ivy Irene Logue, 91 years young, James Island, SC, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2015. She was born in Ipswich, England and immigrated to the United States in 1948. She was a naturalized United States citizen, retired seamstress and chef. A celebration of Ivy's life will be held by her family and friends later this year. Ivy is survived by her sisters, Doff of Australia and Rose (Ken) of California and brothers, Fred (Anne) and Jim (Jan), both of England; her daughters, Denise (Bud) of Charleston and Janice of Canada; grandchildren, Cindy (Chandra), Heather (Rich), Eric (Nikki), Arianne (Perry), Mac, Brae (Perla), Summer and Sage; great-grandchildren, Sam, Sita, Caroline, Madison, Priya, Emma, Joseph, Banyan, Sianna, Eitan, Dillon, Asher, Savannah, Ayla and Sabra. She was predeceased by her two sons, Terry and Kevin, her sister, Lily and brother, Charlie. Ivy's family wishes to thank the community of St. James Place for their concern and friendship over the past twelve years. We are also grateful for the support from BeWell Home Services, Hospice of Charleston and both the Roper and St. Francis Hospitals. McNeil Jr., James A. "Jim"  
James A. "Jim" McNeil, Jr. HANAHAN - James A. "Jim" McNeil, Jr., 73, of Hanahan, SC, died Thursday, July 2, 2015. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 1106 Fort Drive, Hanahan, SC at 11:00 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road. Jim was born May 12, 1942 in Southport, NC, son of James Augustine McNeil and Gertrude Gause McNeil. He met the love of his life, Sylvia Poindexter in his hometown of Southport and married her in 1961 while attending NC State College. Sylvia worked to put Jim through college and he credited her love and support as a primary reason for his success in work and in life. They had four beloved children and remained together for 54 years until his death. He will be greatly missed by his family. Jim joined Charleston Naval Shipyard as a civilian employee in 1964. The first part of his career was spent in the nuclear engineering department providing support for the refueling of nuclear powered submarines; both as an engineer and later as an engineering supervisor. In 1980, he joined the Shipyard's Radiological Control Office, where he served as a manager until he retired after 30 years of service. After Jim's retirement from civil service, he joined Lifecycle Engineering of Charleston, where he was instrumental in the decommissioning of the Barnwell Nuclear Fuel Plant. After leaving Lifecycle Engineering, he served as an independent consultant for a variety of different companies in the nuclear field. In the later years of Jim's career, he became an acknowledged expert on management of high level radioactive waste. In addition to his main career, Jim was the author of two fine works of historical non-fiction. His first book, "Charleston's Navy Yard, A Picture History", was published in 1987. His second book, "Masters of the Shoals, Tales of the Cape Fear Pilots Who Ran the Union Blockade", was published in 2003 and reprinted in 2015 by the Southport Historical Society. Jim is survived by his wife, Sylvia Faye McNeil of Hanahan, SC, and their four children: James C."Chris" McNeil, Teresa Y. "Tracy" McNeil, Wendy K. Hartman and Shannon "Sean" McNeil, all of Charleston, SC. Jim had two beloved grandchildren, Kristin McNeil and Stephen Hartman, Jr. who reside in Charleston. He is also survived by his two sisters, Sarah McNeil and Trudy Young, both of Southport, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504 North Charleston, SC 29406.
