Linda Jean Wyrick Toeller

Linda Jean Wyrick Toeller SUMMERVILLE - Linda Jean Wyrick Toeller, 65, of Summerville, went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2013, a day before her 66th birthday. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John Duke and Carlene Wyrick of Harlingen, Texas, where she was raised. She had a very active youth where she loved horses, rodeos, playing in the band, and being outdoors on her family's ranch. She attended Texas Christian University for a year and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Georgia Baptist Nursing School in Atlanta. She was a dedicated and compassionate nurse for many years, serving her patients diligently and with much passion. Linda loved her family, fishing, camping, and caring for her little dog, Bebe. She had many talents and was always busy with some kind of home project. She also had an adventurous spirit obtaining a Pilot's License earlier in her life and had recently sky dived, working through a Bucket List she had made. Linda is survived by a sister, Carol McDaniel, of Marietta, Georgia; two brothers, Darrell Wyrick, of Bishopville, South Carolina and Kenneth Wyrick, of Ridgway, Colorado; ten nieces and nephews who affectionately called her "Auntie" and fifteen great nieces and nephews. She shared a special relationship with many of her neighbors, who were like family to her. A service honoring her life will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Summerville Cemetery Mausoleum. Arrangements by PARKS FUNERAL HOME, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Visit our guestbook at www.legacy.com/obituaries/ charleston
