So sad to hear of Gordan Stine's passing. I remember him as the powerhouse behind the American Revolution Bicentennial celebration in Charleston, and in other civic endeavors. His dynamic leadership is missed.

Thanks to the family for sharing this great man with the tricounty area. His leadership in his temple, at work, and on the BCD Council of Governments was outstanding. He brought many people together to work on his campaigns. His impact on the community was tremendous. I enjoyed my service on the COG board due in large part to Dr. Stine's wit and humor.

Mrs. Stine and Family, I am sorry to learn of our loss. Dr. Stine was one of the most enjoyable people I worked with on special projects and campaigns. He loved the greater Charleston community and worked hard to bring people together. I was fortunate to serve 9 years with Dr. Stine on the BCD Council of Governments where he shined in his efforts to help people. The breakfast meetings with Barrett Lawrimore were just plain fun as complicated issues were weighed and decided. Thank you for sharing him with the masses.
