Dear friends of Reeves van Hettinga:
Reeves and I were members of the Yale Class of 1955 and majored in English. We lived in the same college at Yale, so I probably saw him in the dining hall there on a daily basis, though we were not friends. John Donne said, "Any man's death diminishes me." Our class is certainly diminished by Reeve's passing.

For my dear friend Reeves, all my best memories of a long life.
A great artist, and a fine human being. Will be missed.
