Barbara Starr Cheeseman Barton SUMMERVILLE - Barbara Starr Cheeseman Barton, 68, of Summerville, SC, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Trident Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, March 14, 2014 at 4 o'clock at Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Parks Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6 - 8 o'clock. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 9300 Medical Plaza Dr., Suite F, N.Charleston, SC 29406. Barbara was born January 12, 1946 in Watertown, NY, a daughter of Frances Ottis. She was formerly a cashier at a convenience store. Survivors include four daughters, Vicky Barton, Candy Still (Jackie), Karen Dewitt, and Ramona Barton, all of Summerville; one son, Robert Eugene "BJ" Barton, Jr. (Kellie) of Summerville; one brother, Alva Hagadorn of Delaware; eight grandchildren, Bobbi Lynn Barton, Chet "CJ" Dewitt, Katelyn Rudd,Robert Rudd, Paisley Barton, Darlene Starr Barton, Sheldon McDonnell, and Jordan McDonnell.
