Carolyn Ann Abbott SUMMERVILLE - Carolyn Ann Abbott, 66, of Summerville, wife of Rudolph Abbott, after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at her residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Francis Willis SPCA, 136 4 Paws Lane, Summerville, SC 29483. Carolyn was born in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late William Howard Fuka and Anna Marie (Herpel) Fuka. She was a loving wife and mother. Carolyn was very talented. Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting. She won multiple Blue Ribbons at the State Fair and was named "Best in Show," several years running. She loved to travel, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and her puppy dogs. Surviving in addition to her husband Rudolph are: Two Daughters: Donna Kallay Jernigan of Summerville and Debroah Kallay Langenstein (David Allen) of Tega Cay, SC; Two Grandchildren: Steven Kallay Duncan and Elizabeth Katherine Langenstein; One Sister: Sabina Selma Heath (Ronald Lee) of Lexington, SC.
