Ethel Mae Daulton Bray LADSON - Ethel Mae Daulton Bray, 88, died on Wednesday, March 13, 2013.She married Raymond Glenn Bray March 21, 1947 and they were married for fifty-six years prior to his death. Mrs. Bray was born March 9, 1925 in Somerset, KY, a daughter of Sam Edward Daulton and Carrie Ella Norfleet Daulton. She taught in a one room schoolhouse from 1943 - 1944, worked as a telephone operator from 1945 - 1947, worked with the Salvation Army for two years. She was retired from the Navy Exchange, worked at Cracker Barrel for ten years and traveled the world with the US Navy for thirty years. She was a volunteer with the Dorchester County Sheriff's Department for several years. She enjoyed reading and monthly Bunko games and was a fifty-four year breast cancer survivor. Survivors include one daughter, Glenette Candice Badgett (Rick) of Ladson, SC; two grandsons, Chris Badgett (Cathy) and Josh Badgett (Leslie); one granddaughter, Katie Badgett; four great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Daniel, Jonathan and Damien Badgett; and one brother, Scott Daulton of Elizabethtown, KY. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and her sisters, Margaret Daulton, Edna Evans, Mattie Bryant, Sammie Farley and Dorothy Daulton, and her son, David Bray.
