Jeff Tant Summerville - Jeffrey Edward "Jeff" Tant, 35, of Summerville, SC, a personal trainer and manager for Title Boxing Club, died Tuesday in a Charleston hospital. His funeral will be 11:00 AM Monday morning, August 13, 2018, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, 300 West Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC 29461, (843) 761-8027, to be placed in a Trust for Jeff's son, Easton. Mr. Tant was born November 12, 1982, in Charleston, SC, a son of John Edward Tant, III, and Susan Abelon Tant. He was of the Catholic faith, and he was the owner & operator of JET Elite Training and was CrossFit certified. He loved working out; playing golf with his father, brother, and friends; bass fishing with his son and father; and spending time with his son teaching him how to golf, play baseball, and fish. Mr. Tant enjoyed helping others with any situations they may encounter, including nutrition and fitness mainly. But he especially loved spending time with his wife and son while doing as much as he could for them and others. He was currently pursuing a career in law enforcement. Surviving are, his wife, Jennifer Tilman Tant; his son, Easton H. Tant of Summerville; his parents of North Charleston; a brother, Josh Tant of Denver, CO; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jan and Barry Madjerich of Summerville; father-in-law, Wayne Tillman and Maxine of Longs, SC; his sister-in-law, Kim Proctor and her husband, Marty, along with their sons; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
