Julia McComb Charleston - Julia Morris McComb, 96, of Charleston, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, June 12, 2018. She was born October 21, 1921 in Collins, Georgia to the late William and Lila Arnold Morris. Julia was a member of the Northbridge Baptist Church, a member of the Eastern Star, who loved to play bridge and pinochle. She was an avid porcelain artist who held many demonstrations and workshops at the Coastal Carolina Fair for many years. She is survived by two sons, Carl (Joyce) McComb, of Jonesborough, TN and Timothy "Tim" McComb, of North Charleston, two daughters, Vivian (Johnnie) Nash, of North Charleston, and Linda "Kay" (Ricky) Ravan, of Newberry, SC, a sister, Mary Youmans, of Cullowhee, NC, two grandchildren, Suzanne Nash, of Lebanon, TN and Crystal Robertson, of Aiken, and a great-grandchild, Breeze Robertson, of Aiken, SC. In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her husband, William McComb, five brothers, one sister, and two grandchildren, Johnnie Stewart Nash II, and Luke Ravan. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, on Friday, June 16, 2018 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
