Garmon Family:
I met Cindy in 1999 while in the CAPP program. I found out in short order what was important to her:
Her faith, her family and her job. I enjoyed so many trips and meals with her and I will never forget her. She was truly a friend. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Leigh and Lauren,
There is hardly a day that goes by that I don't look out my window and experience some wonderful memories of "The Garmons" who lived next door for those many years. I remember you two as little girls and your Mom trying to keep track of you and running in seven other directions at the same time. Truly alot of good and laughable memories. At this time, when you feel the loss so deeply, please know that your sorrow is shared by everyone that knew your Mom. You truly have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Leigh and Lauren, Rick and I were so sorry to hear that Cindy had passed away. We remember the last time we saw her that she was just as beautiful as ever and that's the way we will always remember her. When she spoke of you and your families she glowed. You both are tributes to your mother's love for you. Nothing we can say can make the pain any less, but just know that Cindy will be missed by many and our hearts ache for each of you.

Lauren, Leigh, and Families: As you know, Cindy and I have been "connected" throughout most of our lives - first through school (James Island High), then through MUSC, through your friendships with my nieces (Allison and Melissa), and then through mutual friends (Ken and Cindy Gillam). My life has been more enriched because of Cindy and I always will appreciate her kindness, sense of responsibility to her church, her family and friends, and MUSC. May God bless you, her earthly angels, and greet Cindy with a multitude of heavenly angels!

Unfortunately I only knew Cindy for a few years before she passed away, but she was always was more concerned about my health (I had cancer too) than her own! She adored her daughters and their spouses. She told me that her grandchildren brought so much joy to her life. She was a beautiful woman inside & out.

Leigh and Lauren, I knew your mom when we were in high school together. I always admired her for her wonderful smile and her sense of style. She was an elegant and beautiful lady. More recently, I was able to work with her as the organist for your weddings at the Citadel Chapel. She was so proud of both of you! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Dear Garmon Family;
How your hearts must ache from your loss! How Parking Management and the entire MUSC must hurt from the loss of such a dear, sweet soul!
Cindy was my friend and mentor at a time when I really needed her. She sensed exactly what I needed and was able, through her unshakable faith and devotion to God, to offer me comfort. While we are all mourning her passing; I'm quite sure all the Saints in Heaven are celebrating her arrival!
Farewell, my friend. I look forward to our reunion someday.
I pray God wraps his loving arms around you all and provides you with the Peace that only He is capable of giving. God bless you!

Sorry for the loss of your mother. My mother remembered Mr. & Mrs. Wiggins and the family when we all attended James Island Baptist Church in the 1950's and they lived up the street from us. I knew your mother also from working at MUSC. She was a wonderful person and was loved by many. I know she is with her heavenly father and eventually we will meet again. God bless you and your family.

Dear Family Members, Please accept my deepest sympathy at the loss of Cindy. Over the last few years, I had the good fortune of working with her at MUSC over a myriad of problems. As a colleague, she was always, friendly, helpful, and generous in a very stressful job. She will be missed by many here.

Leigh and Lauren

I am so sad for you. The memories I have of your mom are wonderful. The first memory of our growing friendship was when she gave Katie a dress of yours, Leigh, that I had admired when you wore it to church at Bethany. You three girls were young when she and I became friends. Cindy and I were so proud of how you grew up.

Cindy was an 'always there' friend. I appreciated her wisdom and her love for me. You are fortunate to have had her as your mom.

She's with our LORD now, singing with the best Praise Team!

Love,
Charlyn

Dear Leigh and Lauren,
I am so sorry and sad to learn of your mom's death. I remember her as such a caring and fun person and we shared many memories (especially during basketball season and cheering) at Nativity.
Please be assured that you both will be remembered in my prayers in a special way. I know that she will continue to smile when she thinks about the two of you and all the pleasure you gave to her.
Know that you now have a special angel looking down on you and your families.

Cindy haved made such a difference
in my life. When I came to Parking Management, Cindy was the one who encouraged me to except this job. I will miss Cindy, she told me that all I needed to do, was to do my best and don't give up.
I know that you will miss her but remember she is with her Mom and Dad now. No more pain and no more heart ache. I loved Cindy and will forever remember her. Find comfort in knowing Cindy knew Jesus for herself and now she is resting in his arm. Continue to love each other, as I know this is what she would want
you to do. May God comfort you in you time of Sorrow.
