Margaret Lane Baggett CLINTON, SC - Miss Margaret Lane Baggett, 75, of Clinton, died Friday, April 18, 2014, at the Hospice House of Laurens County. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014, in the New Market Cemetery in Greelyville, SC, with the Chaplain Michael Romano officiating. Born on January 14, 1939 in Sarasota, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Neighbor William Baggett and Lizzie Mae Riley Baggett. Margaret was a member of the McDowell Presbyterian Church in Greelyville. Survivors are two nieces, Mrs. Beth Littlejohn (Merrill) of Blowing Rock, NC, and Mrs. Fran Burns (Moultrie) of Camden, SC; a cousin, Esther Houck Dufford (Milton) of Cameron, SC, who has lovingly handled Margaret's affairs and cared for her like a sister for many years. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Ann Baggett Woodward. Memorials may be made to New Market Cemetery, P.O. Box 156, Greelyville, SC 29056, or the Whitten Center, P.O. Box 239, Clinton, SC 29325.
