Michael L. Bourne CHARLESTON - Michael L. Bourne, 66, of Trailmoore Drive, formerly of Conway, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital. Mr. Bourne was born in Conway, a son of the late Alex Bourne and Glen Elizabeth Watson Bourne. He was the owner & operator of MCM Automotive in Charleston. Mr. Bourne was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a long time active member of the American Legion #179 in Charleston. Surviving are his wife, Connie Bourne of Conway; one son, Michael L. Bourne, Jr. (Kara) of Moberly, MO; three daughters, Amy Burris & partner, Anita of Myrtle Beach, Lisa Demaso (Blake) of Charlottesville, VA and Sandi Gravitt (Mike) of Moberly, MO five grandchildren, Kayla Finn, Grace Demaso, Emma Demaso, Justin Johnston and Ashlee Hines; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jackie Bourne (Lynn) of Conway and Gilbert Bourne of Charleston; four sisters, Pearline Holmes, Doris Thompson (Willie Joe), Ruth Kersey and Janice Bourne Foxworth, all of Conway; mother-in-law, Helen Johnston, brother-in-law, Tommy Johnston (Marva) all of Madison, MO. A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM Thursday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. Memorials may be sent to the , 5216 Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216.
