Nathaniel B. Monroe CHARLESTON - Nathaniel B. Monroe of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Nathaniel is the son of the late Mr. Samuel Wesley Monroe, Sr. and the late Mrs. Josephine Coakley Monroe; brother of Francine Monroe, Cynthia Monroe and Maxine (Julius) Fields. He was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Wesley Monroe, Jr. Nathaniel has two special cousins, Helen "Bell" (Raymond) Brown and Arthur Milligan; Derrick Monroe, nephew; Andre' Monroe, grandnephew; Shanequa Monroe, grandniece; two great-grandnieces and a great-grandnephew; Janie Taylor, special friend; Bruce Hart, best friend of fifty-three years; a host of cousins and friends. The Home Going Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Fielding Home for Funerals, 122 Logan Street, Charleston, SC. There will be no family hour.
