Maury S. Scarborough, Jr. SUMMERVILLE - Maury S. Scarborough, Jr., 56, of Summerville, husband of Cindy Murphy Scarborough, was called to the arms of his Lord and Savior after fighting an extended illness on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. At the time he was called home, Maury was surrounded by family, friends and the caring 4th floor staff at Trident Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at Cathedral of Praise, North Charleston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cathedral of Praise, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston, SC 29418 or The Homeless Veterans Program (Operation Independence), Goodwill Industries of LSC, 2150 Eagle Drive Bldg. 100, N. Maury met and fell in love with his soul mate, Cindy and they married on January 23, 1981. Throughout their marriage, he was blessed with 3 children and 2 grandsons. Maury beamed with joy hearing the words, Pop-Pop. Maury was an active member of Cathedral of Praise and served on the Guest Services team.
