Novice Charpia Roszell SUMMERVILLE - Novice Charpia Roszell, 82, widow of David O. Roszell, Jr., of Summerville, SC, died on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, March 2, 2013 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 3 o'clock. Burial will be held at Summerville Cemetery. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 o'clock until time of service. Mrs. Roszell was born July 14, 1930 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of Hamilton Grooms and Susie Bunch Charpia. She was a retired Charleston County school bus driver. She was a member of Stallsville United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia "Patty" Roszell Ross and husband Chris of Summerville and Susan Roszell Coffey and husband Kevin of Hollywood, SC; one son, David Omer Roszell, III and wife Darlene of Ridgeville; six grandchildren, Christopher A. Ross, Megan Rose Hart and husband Michael, all of Summerville, Breiyan Coffey, Chandler Coffey, and Kevin Coffey, Jr., all of Hollywood, and Jordy Roszell of Ridgeville; one great-grandchild, Bella Rose Hart of Summerville.
