RIP Rusty Minter one of my oldest friends. I remember many times when we were teenagers all the fun things we did, most of all fishing lol. Going to high school, going to the beach, sneaking in the neighbors pool. Oh the stories I could tell, none bad, Rusty was a sweet tempered person who my grandparents just loved. Rusty and my grandpa used to go fishing they were two peas in a pod when they had a fishing rod in their hand. I remember one time when we went to pimlico up to my Aunt Henry and Uncle Mitch place on the lake (not sure if I got the spelling right been a long time) and Rusty caught the biggest bass my grandparents and relatives had ever seen up there. My Grandpa wanted to eat and my Uncle Mitch wanted to stuff it. Rusty was so proud of that darn fish and all us women just chuckled at the men folks. Rusty had a good heart, and I was glad to talk to him a few times over the last couple of years, usually when he would call me when he was in the hospital. I will always have fond memories of Rusty, he was my best friend in high school when I moved back from CA, and was there for me. I know his momma who I just loved is happy to have him up there in heaven with her. To the family that survives Rusty I wish you all the compassion I have in your grief. Rusty is remembered with love by me. Wendy Hiott Zarvis
